TEXAS A&M SATELLITE FARM PROGRAM. STABLE MANAGEMENT CLASS.
INTERNSHIPS IN HORSE TRAINING FOR COLLEGE CREDIT
We are a participant in the Texas A&M satellite farm program Our ranch has animals that most places don't have and they get the chance to see abused animals first hand. They say we are highly educational and just fun to be around. The Stable Management Class comes to our facility every year for their class. We also have started offering internships in horse training for college credit for those who qualify.
We partner with Texas A&M as a community partner, because it gives our Barn Buddies an introduction to well rounded role models. At the ranch we insist on good manners from our animals and from those who work there. We do not raise our voices to those we work with regardless of species or situation. Just as we do not raise our hand to discipline our horses, we do not permit abusive behavior toward our Barn Buddies. We take this commitment very seriously. Respect for others is part of self worth. Praise and encouragement build success
faster than anything and thankfully it's something we are all good at.
